Professionally, I am a semi-retired archaeologist, but I have been an enthusiastic photographer for decades. With retirement, I have a lot more time to pursue my passion for lens-based art. For me, photography is a way for me to interpret and re-interpret the world around and within me. I love getting out into nature and working the sense of wonder I experience there into my images. But I also love stretching the creative limits of my camera and myself as I manipulate images, explore with software, and design unique imagery using people, objects, and light in my home studio and beyond.
